Rion Pro Bono Center 2026 Annual Activity Report
2026-05-12

Rion's Pro Bono Center has published its activity report for the first half of 2026. Cumulative pro bono hours this year reached 2,140, surpassing the 1,875 hours recorded during the same period last year.
The average pro bono hours per member came to 31.6 hours, 1.5 times the mandatory standard of 20 hours, with the figure including the activity hours of foreign attorneys and professional advisors. There were 41 legal support cases, handled by 12 dedicated members.
Key programs include the Impact Tech Competition, the Change Partnership Support Program, and Social Change Partners. All three programs are designed as multi-year initiatives rather than one-off support, with the goal of helping participating organizations reach a state where they can operate independently.
Rion carries out its pro bono work not through a separate social contribution department, but within the working hours of every member. The standard of weighing social impact when deciding whether to take on a case operates on the same principle.
